  23. Special Olympics at Blue Knob

    The cross-country skiing and snowshoeing events for this year’s Special Olympics started Monday at Blue Knob resort in Claysburg. Brian Miller and Andrew Sambol, both of Somerset, recorded good times while skiing in several different events. Sambol said the course was “very, very slippy” because of Monday’s warm temperatures, but he was inspired to do well. Sambol said that his inspiration was patriotic.
